    Word 2007 as a Blog Posting Editor

    I've finally had a minute to test Word 2007's blogging features, and I must say I'm impressed. I have published new entries to both my MicroApplications, Inc.     Blogging with Windows Live Writer

    Not bad, for a beta. It's too bad it doesn't support .Text. Yes, I'm one of those pioneers who ran .Text as soon as it came out, and I haven't upgraded to Community Server or SubText (which it also does not support).

    I am posting this blog entry from Outlook. This is pretty kewl, like a good Merlot (the movie Sideways, notwithstanding). I could even post from my Cingular Wireless mobile phone if I needed to.

    Well, since my main blog at MicroApplications, Inc. is intended as a technical resource for my clients, and since Microsoft is offering this blog space for free (for now), I figured I'd take the plunge. I hope to use this space to consider the world as it is over a glass of wine whenever the mood strikes me.
